Dead Man 1995

Dead Man is a 1995 film written and directed by Jim Jarmusch. It stars Johnny Depp, Gary Farmer, Billy Bob Thornton, Iggy Pop, Crispin Glover, John Hurt, Michael Wincott, Lance Henriksen, and Robert Mitchum (of th OG Cape Fear fame in his final role).

The movie is something of a Modern Western, dubbed a "psychedelic Western" if you will by by director Jarmusch, an Spirit Journey if you will a journey not just from life to death but a spiritually awakening, Dead Man includes some very twisted elements of the Western Genre things that may not just exist in 'The Hateful Eight" but in the core soul of all Spaghetti Westerns, this even goes beyond the common Western film gene, it is a film of great beauty which encompasses the universal acceptance of dying and the voyage that follows .Jim Jarmush continues her journey films with this tangent, following Johnny Depp travelling into the heart of the west and experiencing the very worst of western style justice and the very best f guided through this infero.  The film is shot entirely in black-and-white. i saw this back to back with 'Lost Highway' and It was the calm before the storm its bloody good
